Stolen Christmas lights

The Christmas light switch on was a great success. however, late on Saturday 19th November and into the early hours of Sunday 20th November, two of the lights were stolen. The penguin lights from the display at The Hazelwell Centre were taken, we are appealing for anyone with information to either contact the police or contact the council as soon as possible.

Events this year at the Hazelwell centre

The events at the centre are as follows:-

  • Halloween Party: – Friday 28.10.16 – 6pm to 8pm
  • Xmas Lights Switch-on: Thursday 17.11.16 – 7pm
  • Xmas Fayre/Raffle– Saturday 19.11.16 – 10am to 12noon
  • Annual Pensioner’s Xmas Parties – Friday 25.11.16 – 6pm to 11pm
  • Annual Children’s Xmas Party – Friday – 02.12.16 – 6.30pm
  • Pantomime – Dick Whittington – Friday 06.01.2017 at 6pm for 6.30pm

Tickets on sale at the Centre £4 adults £3 children for the pantomime.
