Haswell Parish Council are delighted to announce the appointment of our new Parish Clerk.
Ms Kay Tweddle, a parish clerk with 25 years experience and an extensive knowledge of local government, is now Parish Clerk for Haswell Parish Council.
Ms Tweddle previously worked for District of Easington Council and Trimdon Foundry Parish Council, and is also currently the Deputy Clerk at Peterlee Town Council.
Kay said at the news of her appointment:
“I’m very happy to be on board and delighted to have been appointed.”
“I’m ready to work with all of our partners to do our best for the residents and community of the Haswells.”
Chairman Cllr. Chris Hood commented:
“Ms Tweddle’s CV and experience speaks for itself, however it was her passion and desire to make a difference in The Haswells that made the panel want her as our new Parish Clerk.”
“She takes over at an exciting time for our villages, with a lot of plans in place for 2018, and we look forward to her guidance in helping us achieve our goals for The Haswells.”
Kay began as Parish Clerk and proper officer on 11th December 2017 and we’re sure that everyone will welcome her to our villages!
