Durham County Council has a new bus service that goes from Easington Lane to Trimdon. The 216 runs Monday-Friday, with the first bus starting at Trimdon Village (Church Road) and arriving at Easington lane (Elmore Lane).
This bus passes through Haswell, arriving at Haswell Plough, West View (Trimdon Village-Easington Lane), and at Haswell Plough, Hessewelle Crescent (Easington Lane-Trimdon Village.)
